At Home Furnishings

At Home Furnishings TV advert.
If you’re marketing a shop, a chain or a shopping centre, you need people through the door, and you’re up against online prices and every other retailer shouting about a sale. These are some of the adverts we’ve made to give shoppers a reason to visit.
How TV works for retailers
With retail, the timing matters just as much as the targeting. You’ll probably be planning around sale periods, openings or Christmas, when a whole area needs to hear about it within a few days, and that’s something TV does very well. You only need to be seen where your stores are, so the airtime is bought for those regions, or for the households within reach of each shop.
Your advert needs to give people one clear reason to visit, and that could be the range, the price, or simply what it feels like to be there. An unexpected start to the advert helps too, because retail adverts are very easy to tune out.
Our retail work includes Livingston Designer Outlet, where the advert repositioned the outlet after a multi-million pound redevelopment, and The Bed Experts, whose campaign helped them to break their previous years’ sales records. We produced a Christmas commercial for Metrocentre on behalf of the agency AL Marketing, whose concept it was, and made a national campaign for PC Specialist with their agency, Forward & Thinking. You’ll also find our adverts for George Bolam Foods, OnSpec, At Home Furnishings, Hanson Electrical, Rodgers of York, Franks and Ebac on this page.
We’ve explained the difference between an advert for a sale and an advert for your reputation, along with the rules on offers, in TV advertising for retailers. If there’s a date you’re working towards, have a chat with us about your campaign, and if you’d like an idea of budgets first, here’s what TV advertising costs.

Ebac TV advert.

A Christmas commercial about bringing families back together, shot in two days at Metrocentre and a house in Northumberland.

A national campaign showing that custom-built PCs and laptops are for everyone: four characters, four locations and a two-day shoot.

After a multi-million pound redevelopment, Livingston Designer Outlet needed people to see it differently, and we made the TV ad that repositioned it as a high-end place to shop.

OnSpec have been around since 1999 and are considered the leading frame and lens specialist in the North East, and this campaign was made to support their continued growth.

George Bolam Foods is famous in the North East for its fresh, quality meat, but there’s a lot more to the place than that, and this advert was made to show it.

The Bed Experts had only ever run standard sale commercials on TV, and we wanted this one to really stand out.
