Industry Legal & Financial

Very few people are looking for a solicitor, a claims specialist or a financial adviser until the day they need one, and when that day comes they usually turn to a firm they’ve already heard of and feel they can trust. So if you’re marketing a firm, most of the work is in becoming that familiar name beforehand, and these are some of the adverts we’ve made to help firms do it.

How TV works for law firms and financial advisers

Television puts your name in front of people long before they need you, and being on TV makes a firm feel established, which matters when you’re asking somebody to trust you with a claim or with their savings. Most firms draw their clients from the towns around their offices, so a regional or household-targeted campaign keeps your spend in the areas you serve.

On screen, the challenge is to take a subject that can feel dry or daunting and make it human. That might mean following one client’s case from start to finish, turning a claims service into a movie trailer, or using animated characters to make a simple message stick. Any claim you make, such as a success rate or “no win, no fee”, has to stand up as well, and we deal with that for you through Clearcast.

Our work in this area includes Winn Solicitors, Heptonstalls Solicitors, Atha & Co, Joslin Rhodes and AirFair, and for Hampson Hughes we’ve made both a live-action commercial and an animated one.

There’s a good deal more on this, including the rules on publicity that law firms work within, in TV advertising for solicitors. When you’d like to talk about your own firm, get in touch for a chat, and if you’d sooner do some reading first, there’s our guide to what TV advertising costs.

AirFair

AirFair TV ad

AirFair had been on TV for a while with a simple, no-frills message, and it had worked well for them. When they were ready to step things up, we came up with an animated idea that people would remember.

Hampson Hughes
